FAQ’s

Q: Does Physical Therapy Hurt?

A: Occasionally there is pain associated with Physical Therapy. Your therapist will explain to you if the pain you feel is to be expected or if changes in your program are necessary to avoid this discomfort.

Q: What do I wear to Physical Therapy:

A: Loose, comfortable clothing is best. You will need to expose the part of your body to be treated. Gowns, shorts and drapes are available but you may want to wear clothing that allows access to the area of your pain or injury.

Q: Will I get worse before I get better?

A: Not necessarily, however, once you have been injured and have been avoiding activity, it is sometimes uncomfortable to start moving again. Speak to your therapist about any discomfort you feel. They will be glad to explain it to you.
